- Neocities - Where I host this project and my own web pages. Free, but if you want to make multiple sites, you need to make an account for each site.
- 32-Bit Cafe - Hosted on Neocities. They also have a Discord server, so you can get real-time help from people who already understand what they're doing.
Guides and Explanations
- Absolute Beginner's Guide to Neocities - Easy to follow, but does not explain the logic behind HTML and CSS. Author admits that this guide is for people who want to "do now, learn later".
- webguide.neocities.org - Has examples of basic HTML, and explains the logic behind them. Says it's aimed at beginners, but I think it's more of an intermediate difficulty. Try the previous guide before jumping into this one.
- Layout Builder - A "what you see is what you get" editor. I don't think it's very intuitive. Luckily, the creator posted a companion guide over here.
Layouts and Templates
Most of these don't explain how they work. Again, "do now, learn later".
- Open Book - I used this for my Aspirational Resume project.
- By Eggramen on Neocities - I used "Sweet.css" for this project.
- By Sadgrl on Neocities - Check the links on the righthand side for more resources.
- Classless CSS - "Classless" means you only need to use the most basic of HTML tags.
